Dorrie regularly exhibited in galleries, Walker Gallery London, and retail oulets when following the Shakespeare season in Stratford-upon-avon when seh rented out part of the Spinning Wheel shop. She exhibited in the Walkers Gallery alongside other female artists from 1935 - 1939. The artists exhbiting with her included Lady Gertrude Crawford, Lady Coryndon, Mary Ireland the originator of fabric mosaics, Dorothea Richardson, miniature model birds. Greta Lisa De Snellman-Jaderholm, pottery and glass (Finland) ; Amy Bond, trees sketched with a needle and Cssa. Lisa Sarfatti Scopoli, (Marlisa) -new floral lighting effects.
